Deep Fry
1. Heat up oil on medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
2. Take the lumpia straight from the freezer. No need to thaw. This will give a crispier texture.
2. Place the lumpia in the oil and fry for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
3. Let lumpia rest for a minute after cooking, then serve with your favourite sweet chilli sauce.
Air Fry
1. Set air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 3–5 minutes.
2. Take the lumpia straight from the freezer. No need to thaw.
3. Lightly spray the lumpia with cooking oil for extra crispiness (optional).
4. Place the lumpia in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
5. Cook the lumpia at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes.
6. Flip the lumpia halfway through the cooking time to ensure both sides are evenly crispy.
7. Let lumpia rest for a minute after cooking, then serve with your favourite sweet chilli sauce.
Lumpia should be golden brown and crispy. If they need more time, cook in additional 2-minute increments until crispy to your liking.
